The Finnie family have owned small business' since 1976, moving from motorcycle sales into skip hire, scrap metal and MOT's in 1990.Three generations of the family have been involved in the various businesses. Many of the staff have been employed for as long as 17 years hence there is a strong bond and rapport throughout. As we are constantly striving to improve the services we offer, staff are trained, when required, to update their skills and maximise their abilities. The atmosphere we hope to generate is of a progressive, capable, professional establishment with a helpful and friendly attitude.

Currently we supply skips within a large radius around Inverness covering as far afield as required (click here to see page ). As we are constantly modifying our operations, we now place a large emphasis on recycling ( see page) and direct as much products as possible.

Our yard at 32 Longman Drive is now the oldest skip/scrap yard in Inverness, having been a scrap yard since the end of the second world war. We recover scrap metals and buy at competitive prices always ( see page). Our premises is also a designated ELV disposal centre (End of life of vehicle) which means that a vehicle can be correctly disposed of with us ( see page).

At Finnies, we MOT all vehicle classes up to 3.5 tonne (plus motorhomes) and offer competitive prices with free retests, if required ( see page).
